What is a Fish & Game Safety Course? 
It is a required course by state law for children 12 to 16 years old.  Once the child passes the course, they receive a green card that they must carry at all times when riding a OHRV.

Who teaches the safety courses? 
They are taught by trained instructors, most by volunteers from clubs.

Where and when can I take an approved class? 
Check out the schedule on the NH Fish and Game website.

How can I become a safety instructor? 
By contacting the NHOHVA safety committee at safety@nhohva.org.

How old does my child have to be to cross a public way? 
By law a child must be 12 years old to cross a public way or road.  The adult accompanying the child must cross the wheeled vehicle for them until the are 12 years old.
